SIA Violet Richardson Named after the President of the first club, the program offers a cash reward grant to recipients and to the organization for which they volunteer Young women between the age of 14 & 17 who make the world a better place through volunteer efforts, especially those that benefit women or girls. Application includes an essay demonstrating community involvement. Club level - individual annual budget determines award; Regional level - 4 at $500 plus 1 Federation award of $1000; Federation level - trophy to winner, $2500 to organization Schools

SIA Women's Opportunity Award Soroptimist's major service project aids household women seeking to improve their economic status by gaining additional skills, training & education Female heads of households, enrolled in or accepted to a vocational program or under grad degree program. SIA Making A Difference for Women Acknowledge those who work to improve the status of women under an umbrella that includes 3 programs:
1) Women Helping Women honors women who use resources to help women achieve potential

3) Advancing the Status of Women recognizes business promoting women's issues & status.

NWR Fellowship Supports women residing in the NWR returning to school for postgraduate study in advance degree (Masters, Ph.D.) Woman must reside in NWR, hold BA/BS or Masters Degree; present plan for further study, 3 letters of reference & transcripts Club: $500
