Soroptimists pot for scholarships

Janet Stevenson, Sally Washburn, Laura Halady and Jennie Townsan potted for fun and dollars at the Jefferson County Soroptimists' "Pot for Scholarships" at Dream City Catering, near Kala Point and Port Townsend, on Saturday, May, 10.

Twenty-nine people learned how to plant garden pots, while raising money for local scholarships. Under the direction of Karen Page, Soroptimist and owner of Landshape Gardens, they raised more than $600, while creating pretty garden pots and having a blast!
