Soroptimists Offer Perfect "Stocking Stuffer"

"Stamp Out Home Cooking & Life's Other Little Pleasures" coupon books are once again available from Soroptimists of Port Townsend & East Jefferson County. These little books contain coupons for discounts on meals at many of Port Townsend and East Jefferson County's finest restaurants and coffee shops. Many are the much-loved "Buy one, get one free" offers.

For 2008/09, Soroptimists have once again included discounts at a winery, florist, gift shop, nursery, dry cleaner and several personal services. At just $10 each, these are a wonderful deal! They're also the perfect stocking stuffer or hostess gift for those upcoming holiday festivities. (Of course, you'll want at least one for yourself, too!) Coupons are generally valid from Oct. 1 through May 31; some are even good year round.

Proceeds from the sale of coupon books directly benefit our local community. Soroptimists' funds—and gifts of time and labor—go to scholarships for high school seniors, women enrolled in higher education or vocational programs, health programs, domestic violence prevention, community beautification, support for women entering or re-entering the work force, and other worthy causes.
